Job Description
The Distribution Center Manager will oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the distribution center's overall strategy and direction
- Overseeing the implementation of new processes and procedures
- Leading cross-functional teams to drive business results
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers
- Manage inventory levels, stockroom organization, and material handling systems
- Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
- Analyze and improve distribution center operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management required
- Seven to Ten years' operations management experience in the areas of warehousing, freight, and logistics (domestic and international) is required
- Managerial experience within a multi-unit environment a plus
