Sage Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Services is proud to announce the opening of a Van Driver/Maintenance Technician position at our brand-new facility. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team of healthcare experts.
About the Role
As a Van Driver/Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient patient transportation services, as well as performing various maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Transportation Services: Safely transport patients to and from our Inpatient, Outpatient, and Wound Care facilities using company-provided vans.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, as well as repair and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and fire suppression systems.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Assist with day-to-day housekeeping activities, ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable for patients and staff.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with facility staff regarding schedules and locations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver's License
- Current, unrestricted Chauffeur's License in the State of Louisiana
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience as a CNA in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, fire suppression systems, transportation equipment, and other hospital equipment
