Branch Manager

Sage Rental Services is looking for a Branch Manager to join our team. The Branch Manager will be based out of our Oklahoma City OK office and will be responsible for providing ensuring the successful management of work performed in the service area.
The ideal candidate is responsible for establishing production goals, supervising, coaching and evaluating service employees to ensure that work is performed to meet SAGE’s departmental goals.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): 

Customer Service

• Communicate, implement, and monitor service department policies and procedures in order to ensure a high level of safety and consistency.
•  Select, manage, develop and evaluate service personnel to maintain top quality workmanship and efficiency in a repair and service shop environment.
• Collaborate with key internal/external resources to maintain customer relationships

Supervisory Duties

• Monitor and control time records, service reports and shop maintenance activities
• Plans and assigns work; enforces policies and procedures to maintain safe working conditions
• Recommends improvements in repair and service methods, equipment and operating procedures
• Manages company expenses through warranty and damage recovery
• Maintains facility to Cat Contamination Control and TFR safety standards
• Supervise shop and field technicians and provide input to the Regional Manager regarding evaluations, merit increases and career development

Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests
• Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude with previous diesel experience and understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Quality control analysis skills for conducting tests and inspections of products and services
• Technical/computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, engine program tools, rental industry software, etc.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and display excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
• Strong level of recordkeeping and document control to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty or on site
• Ability to travel when needed

Preferred:

• Trade/technical certification or previous industry experience
• Extensive knowledge of, and experience with MSHA, OSHA, DOT
• 3-5 years; Heavy equipment industry favorable
