Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Enablement Manager for In Life, the Senior Sales Enablement Program Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering Sales Enablement that drives sales effectiveness and productivity. The Senior Sales Enablement Program Manager will oversee Enablement Programs aligned to regional Enablement plans. They will work collaboratively across Sage to define and deliver Enablement Programs and “Always On” Enablement which will include a mix of formal training content and bringing concepts to life through coaching of practical application. They will ensure all the enablement programmes are aligned to the Sales Excellence and Enablement goals, objectives, strategies and ‘The 14’.

In partnership with regional Sales leadership, the Senior Sales Enablement Program Manager will proactively assess current and ongoing enablement needs, design and implement onboarding and continuous development programs, and measure the impact of the programs against agreed performance outcomes. From initial colleague onboarding through to enhanced skills development adopting a culture and concept of continuous improvement as we enhance skills and competence across all Sales roles.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Sales Enablement colleagues to drive sales effectiveness through onboarding and continuous enablement
  • Provide subject matter and regional expertise to develop and/or co-develop (with Learning Services) skills and process enablement
  • They will deliver 3-4 programs in parallel
  • Coach and drive adoption of skills to meet competency requirements and sales goals
  • Deliver skills and processes for onboarding new Sales colleagues
  • Oversee and review sales enablement content
  • Oversee and review assets, training, and coaching focused on:
  • Initiatives across sales craft
  • Reducing time to productivity for sales roles
  • Improving sellers’ ability to differentiate through the sales process
  • Innovation to drive a culture of coaching
  • Oversee and deliver skills and process training for strategic initiatives
  • Build and deliver skills sessions and provide ongoing coaching to Sales Leaders, focusing on leveraging tools, dashboards, and reports so they can coach sellers
  • Measure performance improvement and address gaps through coaching, role plays, and activities
  • Regularly report the impact of Enablement activity against agreed performance outcomes and objectives





Requirements

  • 7 years experience including at least 2 years experience in a Customer Success quota-carrying role with demonstrated enablement capabilities
  • Experienced in Sales Enablement methods and approaches
  • SaaS company experience
  • Proficient in collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders, articulating ideas professionally.
  • Innovative mindset, constantly seeking new methods and unafraid to challenge
  • Ability to independently lead discrete pieces of work with limited oversight and be seen as an expert in this field
  • A seasoned coach with advanced and refined coaching skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Innovative, seeks new ways of working and not afraid to challenge status quo. Open to experimentation and supporting others to do the same
  • Strong presence with ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at mid to senior levels
  • Strong Business acumen and understanding of Sage organizational issues and challenges
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and delivering with agility

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. For this role, in those locations, the total cash range for new hires is: $132,000 to $180,000.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. The range listed reflects the Sage total compensation package.
