We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our Junior Varsity Girls Soccer program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer team.
- Plan and conduct practices that enhance players’ skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and oversee all aspects of the JV girls soccer season, including scheduling games and coordinating travel.
- Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other coaching staff to ensure alignment with the overall athletic program goals.
- Monitor and assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to support individual and team growth.
- Maintain open communication with players, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and player development.
- Ensure compliance with all league rules and regulations, as well as school policies.
- Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, hard work, and dedication.
- Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in girls soccer.
- Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or junior varsity level.
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with athletes, parents, and school staff.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athletes.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the soccer season.
- A background in physical education, sports management, or a related field is preferred.
