We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. This position plays a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using proper knife skills.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages.
• Participate in regular cleaning tasks to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
