We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator to become an integral part of our team! You will gauge sales opportunities and provide extensive customer service to all clients and work closely with our sales and engineering teams.
Your role will involve providing administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the external sales efforts. By managing the CRM tools and facilitating communication between internal teams and external clients, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency and maximizing sales opportunities.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment or with OEM and Tier one customers is desired.

Qualifications
- Ability to learn and explain the high-level operations of the company's automation equipment
- Ability to read 2D plant layouts and use that information to identify the correct equipment offering for each application
- Ability to read and understand detailed customer specifications and use that information to create detailed proposals
- Ability to build rapport with clients and to speak in front of groups and give presentations
- Exposure to automation or a strong curiosity about this field
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented
- Knowledge of ERP systems preferred
- Team player and works well with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Projects and Excel
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, within a manufacturing environment preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in related field
Work Conditions
This job operates in both office and plant environments. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photo copiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, hand tools, and other machines
Travel
Overnight and abroad travel is occasionally required (5% - 15% Travel)
