SAIC is seeking a Configuration Control Technician to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be responsible for preparing data logs, working with Statements of Processes, tracking report progress status and reporting out progress of organization's documentation. Document control responsibilities include tracking documentation and drawings and issuing control numbers. Candidate’s tasks will include daily administration responsibilities of the branch such as creating shipping documents, visitor's passes, ordering office supplies, meeting visitors and scheduling services for the building staff.
JOB DUTIES:
- Control and maintenance of Test Data Logs, and Test Station Logs. Candidate will team with Project Representatives and Equipment Managers, along with Quality Focal Point.
- Control and maintenance of Ordnance SOPs for branch and division. Candidate works with Division Tech Writer and Division SOP POC.
- Control and maintenance of Drawings, ECRs, ECO for engineering team.
- Visitors' Pass creation.
- Ordering office supplies.
- Scheduling office visits and meetings.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- AA Degree and three (3) years related experience; or, High School and five (5) years related experience.
- Experience editing and reviewing technical documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft office products and Adobe PDF.
- Willing to learn and utilize IT systems related to Configuration Management.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Configuration Management practices, and use of IPDM (Integrated Product Data Management) or similar system would be a plus.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim clearance required to start; SAIC will sponsor clearance process.
- Must be a US citizen.
