Description
SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Hanahan, SC .
The Mechanical Engineer will :
- Develop static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages.
- Review performance specifications and continuously track all metrics to ensure prototype designs and systems are in accordance with the customer's needs and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software to ensure designs meet all anticipated load and vibration profiles.
- Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.
- Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation. Review and approve all drafting documentation.
