Description
SAIC has a contingent opening for an Information Security Specialist / Engineer supporting a large highly visible Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic Data Center and Cloud Hosting Service Program . Ideal candidates are people who thrive in a highly challenging fully integrated government and private sector program team. Candidates must be capable of multitasking, possess highly refined communication skills and who are capable of presenting information in a variety of forums for the program team to include integrated product team level and above.
Work is performed on site in North Charleston, SC. This program is contingent upon award news in March / April 2025.
Qualifications
Required Clearance : Active Secret clearance
Required Education : Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial related discipline or High School Diploma or GED. Individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification / training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.
Required Experience : Five (5) years of experience with degree, or nine (9) years of experience without completed degree.
Required Certifications :
- At least one (1) of the following : CompTIA Security or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security
Professional (CISSP).
level for relevant technology, VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization, Citrix Certified Administrator, or Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Associate.
Plus : depending on PWS tasking, individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III (position-based).
