Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our talented team. In this role, you will prepare, arrange, move, load, or unload materials and products using forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment for distribution or storage. You will perform various warehousing duties such as verifying materials against receiving documents, noting discrepancies, storing and taking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment.
Work is performed on site in Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.

You will perform various warehousing duties such as verifying materials against receiving documents, noting discrepancies, storing and taking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment.
Work is performed on site in Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse in compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements.
- Prepare and arrange materials and products in bulk for distribution or storage.
- Move, load, or unload equipment, materials, and products.
- Pack orders for shipment, including labeling and packaging materials in accordance with Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) requirements.
- Drive forklifts and related material-handling machinery and equipment.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Identify and reporting damaged or defective products.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Address inventory discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Adhere to warehouse procedures and quality control guidelines.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years experience required.
- Forklift Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with inventory management systems and software.
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork abilities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with management and production line staff.
- US Citizenship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is preferred.
