Job Title: Sr.Network Engineer

Duration: 3 months

Primary Skills:

3 years of network engineering within a Cisco networking environment

3 years network management systems to include Cisco Prime & Wireless LANControllers

3 years of network security experience(firewalls, sniffers) and other devices

3 years working with DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, andRIPv2, OSPF, BGP

3 years working with CISCO Routers/Switches, ASA, F5, Fortinet, and Riverbeddevices

Experience with Wireless Design and Implementation (4G/LTE), Wireshark, andSolarWinds

Certifications (PLUS): CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, or CCIE

Degree (PLUS):Computer Science, Computer Networking, Technical Certifications.

Senior Network Engineer:

Theprimary goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's voice anddata network in order to provide maximum performance and availability for thesystem users.

Supports complex and secure network solutions at enterprise level

Analyzes business needs; designs, installs, and supports network solutions onmultiple platforms

Provides technical support for voice and data networks

Creates and updates documentation for supported applications and platforms asneeded

Well-versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocolrouters, multilayer switches, network security devices, and network managementsystems

Serves as last level of support for trouble shooting network usage andequipment issues or outages

Excellent problem management and customer service skills

Delivers informative, well-organized presentations

Effectively communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Networking

Administration and maintenance of infrastructure, WAN, and Internal Systems

Performs complex troubleshooting, backup ,archiving, and disaster recoveryresponsibilities

Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems

Performs hardware and software upgrades for Cisco and non-Cisco Platforms

Documents, designs, implements, and maintains corporate datacommunications networks which support the data center, retail stores,distribution centers, and remote offices

Monitors and reviews network performance issues regarding local and wide areanetworks

Assumes proactive role in maintaining network availability for all corporateusers

Performs daily administration of network routing and switching, servers/networkmonitoring, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, intrusion detection andprevention systems, and VPN/SSL systems

Administers and deploys configuration changes on industry devices, such asCisco, Fortinet, Riverbed, and F5

Works with SolarWinds to configure alerting of network devices that will proactivelyalert on impacting issues

Handles software upgrades and device maintenance

Works with Ecommerce Team on performance improvement efforts
