SAILTEAM.IO has been retained to build a new tech team for a Client based in Winter Park, FL. The client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead their new technology team in revolutionizing their data infrastructure. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture, with a focus on migrating from SQL Server to Azure cloud data warehouse and optimizing their data pipelines for efficiency and scalability.

LOCATION : ONSITE in New Offices - Winter Park, FL

Position Summary :

Seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong Database Administration (DBA) expertise to support our rapid expansion. This role involves designing and managing Azure-based data pipelines, databases, and integrations to drive business insights and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Architect and maintain scalable, secure data systems (Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Blob Storage).
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and automation across Azure environments.
• Manage Azure SQL Databases, optimize performance, and oversee backup & disaster recovery.
• Implement security measures, database migrations, and troubleshooting strategies.
