At Sain Associates, we are engineers who love designing and providing exceptional service to our clients. To do our job well, we need a great Project Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on compliance, minding the details, and ensuring accurate information.
We are looking for someone who will assist our Project Managers with the project delivery system from start to finish. Your responsibilities for each project's lifecycle would include setting up projects in our accounting software per billing and contract specifications; monitoring budgets during the project; and tracking accounts receivable during project closeout. You would also be the gatekeeper for record-keeping at the firm by verifying all signed contracts and other necessary documentation are filed.
Job Duties
- Work with our accounting software daily
- Run reports using our accounting software
- Collect project documentation
- Review fee estimates prepared by project managers
- Assist project managers in preparing invoices
- Monitor accounts receivable
