What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAH Administrative Assistant I position at Saint Anne's Hospital?
Summary:
Provide administrative support to the Chief of Anesthesia as well as the Anesthesia Department physician staff at Saint Anne's and Southern New England Surgery Center (SNESC) with travel to the SNESC satellite on occasion.
Primary responsibilities include the secretarial functions of the department answering telephones scheduling appointments coordinating meetings recording meeting minutes purchasing office supplies and maintaining files.
Assistant will also be the back up to the Administrative Assistant for Emergency Services and Case Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of two years' experience with strong organizations skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
EDUCATION:
- Associates Degree or equivalent.
