Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a Director of Graduate Operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Director of Graduate Operations will act as the administrative leader for the College's graduate programs, providing support for coordinating, maintaining, and enhancing these programs as the College looks to expand its graduate offerings. This role requires dedication to fostering academic excellence and providing student support within the graduate studies realm, ensuring a robust learning environment for graduate students.
The Director of Graduate Operations will be a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in the management of graduate programs. This individual will champion the needs and aspirations of Saint Anselm's graduate students, advocating for their academic success, co-curricular needs, and professional development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting academic graduate program directors, and work with enrollment management, the communication and marketing team, and academic and student affairs professionals to enhance the graduate student experience prior to enrollment and during their studies.
The Director of Graduate Operations is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt staff position eligible for a hybrid work schedule, including up to two days of remote work per week, in keeping with the College’s policy.

- Support Graduate Program Directors and Faculty: Provide consistent support and resources to graduate program directors, and faculty to enhance the quality of graduate education, foster a collaborative academic environment, and support the development of new initiatives and programs. Collaborate with graduate program directors to explore external funding opportunities.

Administer Graduate Finances: Oversee budgeting for graduate infrastructure needs including instructional costs.
- Coordinate and develop graduate policies and procedures: Serve as the central source of information at Saint Anselm College for practices, policies and procedures related to graduate education.

Support Graduate Admissions and Enrollment: In partnership with the offices of Enrollment Management and Marketing/Communications, provide support for the recruitment and enrollment strategies and processes for graduate students.

Coordinate with Campus Offices: Ensure seamless integration of graduate programs with key campus services by coordinating with the Registrar's Office, Student Accounts, Student Affairs, Athletics, Residential Life, and Enrollment Management.

Develop and Maintain Graduate Student Resources: Create and regularly update a comprehensive Graduate Student Handbook and Catalog, ensuring all information is current and supports the academic and professional needs of graduate students.

Advocate for Graduate Students: Champion the academic, co-curricular, and professional development needs of graduate students, acting as a dedicated advocate to enhance their educational experience and career outcomes.
- Manage administrative functions: Oversee the academic integrity and administrative functions of graduate studies, ensuring compliance with college policies and accreditation standards.
Qualifications for this position include a master’s degree from an accredited institution, Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in higher education administration, with a demonstrated record of supporting graduate programs.
