The
Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in German. The successful candidate will teach one section of intermediate German in the fall 2025 semester (on ground and in person, with possible continuation beyond the fall semester, depending on student numbers). Submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability (such as student evaluations, if available) and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Jaime Orrego, Department Chair, via the college website
. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the department faculty assistant, Karen Harrington (kharrington@anselm.edu). Applications will be reviewed as they are received and until the position is filled.
Required Skills: An M.A. or ABD in German is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level and must possess native or near-native fluency in German and English.
Required Experience: Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
