The Accountability Compliance Specialist in the Developmental Disabilities program is responsible for the tracking and collecting all developmental disabilities data/reports related to accountability services and will be responsible for supporting incident management practices across all Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Accountability and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for developing tools to internally audit programs and test operational policies and procedures against regulatory and claiming requirements. The Accountability and Compliance Specialist in Developmental Disabilities must be able to manage time independently and adhere to all deadlines that can include unexpected demands for information and/or additional assignments. This position supervises the Compliance Analysts, and conducts audits to identify areas of vulnerability and/or risk and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- At least 3 years compliance experience in OPWDD or Department of Health.
- Knowledge and experience in applicable rules and regulations of the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)
- Excellent analytic, written, and verbal skills and the ability to clearly and concisely present complex information to a diverse spectrum of individuals
- Demonstrate excel knowledge.
