Search Status : Open until filled.Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pennsylvania seeks a full-time experienced faculty member to serve within its well-established Department of Physician Assistant (PA) Sciences beginning Spring 2025. This is a 12-month faculty position that also includes responsibilities for University and community service, scholarly activity and opportunities for clinical practice. Faculty rank determination will be based on educational credentials and academic experience. The position may be non-tenured or tenure track depending on the qualifications of the candidate.Primary responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate and first year (didactic) curriculum across the body systems focused in areas of clinical expertise, including critical thinking sessions and teaching the applied anatomy and physiology component during the didactic year. Additional duties include, but are not limited to student advising, student evaluations and remediation as well as participation in admissions activities.The Department is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent teaching, communication and organizational skills to work as a team member to achieve the Department's goals and objectives. The successful applicant must demonstrate knowledge of educational pedagogical methods and evaluation processes.Certified Physician Assistant with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is preferred. At least three years of clinical experience and two years of teaching experience in Physician Assistant Sciences Education preferred.
