Wine and Spirits Retail Associate

We are Saint Goose! Located in historic downtown Franklin, TN.

We are looking for an extraordinary, wine enthused individual to join Saint Goose. As a member of our team, you will provide Saint Goose clients with a hospitality-focused, beverage buying experience.

We believe wine and whiskey are important elements of celebrations. They are used to toast special occasions, enhance the taste of a meal, and take communion, but also just to share with your friends after work or partner after the kids go to bed. Whether it is a sacred moment, a victory celebration or a Tuesday night with neighbors, a good bottle of wine or bourbon can make it better. It is our mission to create passionate consumers of wine and spirits: to introduce, educate, and provide world class wines, spirits and accoutrements to residents and visitors of Williamson County. We do this through educational and tasting events, personalized shopping experiences and sourcing the very best and most desirable products. Our passion is to ensure every customer leaves more knowledgeable and wiser than when they arrived.

Day to Day:

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service throughout their shopping experience

Provide wine recommendations and help customers choose the best wine for their taste, need, and budget

Educate and excite clients about our mission and values

Represent the Saint Goose brand through decorum and service

Assist with private and in-store events, classes, and tastings

Receive and distribute wine, whiskey and all other merchandise into their designated placements throughout Saint Goose

Maintain the shop in a tidy and orderly fashion

Ideal Candidate:

Eagerness to expand existing knowledge of wine, whiskey, and other spirits

Available Friday nights and Saturdays

Background in customer service around wine (either in a restaurant or retail capacity)

Communicates clearly and effectively with both clients and other members of the Saint Goose team (in person, on the phone, via email/text/slack)

Dedicated to customer satisfaction and exceeding their expectations

Foster the Saint Goose hospitality and warm atmosphere with ease

Highly motivated with a knack for ingenuity and ambition

Exquisite organizational skills and an impeccable eye for detail

Sense of humor and a love for the finer things in life

Requirements:

Team player

Ability to easily lift and move 50lbs (wine is heavy!)

Must have a valid driver’s license

Positions Available: Full Time, Part Time, Seasonal, Delivery Driver

Hourly Rate: $16-25/hour

Must be 21 years old or older
