What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper position at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School?
St. Gregory the Great Catholic School seeks a Kitchen Helper for the
2024-2025 Academic year. Candidates should possess a desire to work in a Christ-centered school, where faith and reason work together, enjoy working with Elementary and Middle School students and be committed to the mission of our school. The responsibilities and tasks required of this position are:
- Safety and sanitation will be the number one priority.
- Prepare lunch trays based on class count.
- Assist wherever needed in the kitchen prior to , during, and after the
serving of lunch. - Assist in kitchen clean up during and after lunch, daily.
- Assist in check-in and storage of food deliveries when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment weekly; floors, sinks, basins, and serving lines daily.
This is a part-time, (10 AM – 2 PM) hourly, 10-month position (Monday-Friday).
