Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and mission-focused After School Coordinator to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and families, the skills to manage a team of after school staff members, and a strong commitment to providing quality care and programming to children during the after school hours.
Responsibilities:
Communicate consistently and effectively with students, families, and staff
Develop and coordinate programming (i.e. clubs and tutoring opportunities) to enrich students' after school experience
Create a weekly after school staffing schedule
Manage key procedures including attendance tracking and billing through the online student information system
Ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff by diligently monitoring and following all school protocols
Follow all MA EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) protocols
Serve as the main on-site administrator during the after school hours
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Proven experience working with students and families in an educational capacity
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with students and families
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
All candidates must pass RCAB and EEC background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting procedures, as well as complete mandatory RCAB, EEC, and school-based trainings
