Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and processes confidential correspondence, reports, agendas and general paperwork.
- Performs clerical work such as filing and compiling data for various reports.
- Answers phone calls relative to Adoption/Maternity and Baby Pantry clients.
- Types on-going dictation from caseworkers using dictaphone regarding Adoption/Maternity and SWAN clients.
- Compiles and completes all legal documents for all adoption cases.
- Attends advisory meetings and compiles reports for Director and Administration.
- Assists with pantry clients in rotation with other personnel.
- Becomes a certified counselor for Real Alternatives.
- Enters Real Alternatives billing into computer system.
- Serves as a notary public for entire department.
- Completes all admission/discharge information on all maternity clients and their plans for baby, also admits/discharges babies from the community.
- Works with adoption caseworkers on all international adoption forms and reports.
- Receives, completes and marks in baptismal book all requests for baptismal certificates.
- Accepts and documents program donations.
- Maintains confidentiality in regard to all program information and uses office/private area for confidential conversation.
- Coordinates volunteer schedule and assignments.
- Prepares pantry orders for pick up.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship with coworkers and supervisors and creates an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust within the department.
- Is flexible to changes in duties, priorities, methods and environments.
- Comes to work as scheduled and in punctual.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned and remains flexible to the diverse needs of the facility.
- Ability to get along with people and be a team player

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
Education And/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Ability to sit 3-7 hours per day.
- Ability to stand for up to about an hour of time.
- Ability to walk 1-3 hours per day.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 10-25 pounds.
- Ability to twist, squat, bend and kneel for short periods of time.
