If yes, how you will contribute to the team:
As our Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) you will be responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and care of residents with breathing disorders. Upon request of physician, set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease while monitoring resident's physiological responses to therapy.
Must have:
- 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy
- Current Respiratory License in the state credentialed by the NBRC
- Ability to work under stress and emergency situations
- Current and valid CPR/BLS certification – We can get you certified!
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Nice to have:
- Experience working with multiple residents
- Experience in acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
