Job Summary
To provide a variety of customer service functions involving the receipt and payment of cash, checks, and other negotiable items.
Job Responsibilities
- Process deposits, savings withdrawals and transfer funds.
- Cash checks following established policies and procedures.
- Balance vault cash, prepare incoming and outgoing cash shipments as necessary
- Balance and maintain security of cash drawer daily.
- Process loan payments, credit card cash advances, and TTL payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting the customer in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Handle routine customer inquiries and problems.
- Ensure customer needs are met within the branch.
- Monitor and update account records.
- Help complete wire requests
- Work closely with branch personnel to ensure compliance with regulations and policies are upheld.
- Operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist with branch audits
- Job may require other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent and one to three years banking experience preferred.
- One to three years of customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of all retail products and services.
- In-depth knowledge of computers and banking software.
Work Environment
- General office conditions
- Must be able to work effectively at a computer for extended periods of time
- Regular attendance is necessary
