What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Saint Luke's Health System?
Job Description
Coordinates implements and oversees the entities complex accounting activities including journal entries financial statements fixed assets account reconciliations compliance with GAAP accounting financial reporting requirements and assistance with budget process. Training teaching and providing daily supervision of staff accountants accounting specialists accounting technicians and accounting interns. Reviews recorded journal entries and monthly financial statements identifying unusual or significant variances in order to ensure financial statements are fairly stated. Completion of accounting areas that are more complex or judgmental in nature with oversight from the Controller or Director of Finance.
