The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a highly motivated Cardiac Sonographer to join our Mid America Heart Institute team in ensuring our vision of being “The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care.” You will work collaboratively with team members and partner with physicians and nurses to provide excellent patient care. At this designated teaching hospital, you will have the opportunity to not only grow in your knowledge, but assist students, residents, and fellows in the growth of theirs.

Shift Details:

• Full Time Days

• 7:15am - 5:45pm

Requirements:

• ARMDS or CCI

Responsibilities:

• Provides care for a variety of inpatients and outpatients including: cardiac transplant patients and patients with LVADs as a bridge to transplant and destination LVADs

• Performs variety of imaging including: 3-D and strain imaging and will gain experience in advanced reporting

• Within the organizational structure of Radiology provides cardiac ultrasound imaging exams to assist in direct patient care.

The ideal candidate will be positive, self-motivated, and ready to assist team members with a variety of tasks. To be successful in this role, you will need to be driven and detail-oriented. We are seeking a candidate who is adaptable and able to manage changes successfully. You will need to be hardworking, ready to learn, and willing to support the team and meet the needs of the department.
