What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Arts Camp Instructor (2025 Summer) position at Saint Mary's College?
Program description : Professionally-trained instructors guide campers in one discipline: art, puppetry, dance, music, or theatre. Fine Arts Camp focuses on educating young women in the creative process and developing their communication, critical, and analytical thinking skills. At the end of the week, campers present their work in a Performing Arts Forum on the O’Laughlin stage at Saint Mary’s College. Participants will explore five fine arts disciplines: music, dance, theater, puppetry, and art over five days. Exploration classes in these disciplines are offered in the morning sessions. In the afternoon performance class, each camper specializes in a specific art form. At the end of the week, families are invited to attend a performance showcasing the campers’ creations.
Minimum Qualifications: College graduate with experience in working with young women ages 9 -14
Preferred Qualifications: Previous Camp experience helpful, preferably as a supervisor
