What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Aide, Full Time position at SAINT MARY'S HOME OF ERIE?

Saint Mary's Home of Erie is a beautiful, well-maintained facility enjoyed by our residents. A FULL TIME Activity Aide is needed to work with the Activity Director to achieve the objectives of the Activity Department. The Aide will lead a range of appropriate and interesting activities that are assigned by the Activity Director. The primary objective is to provide the residents with “person-centered” care, as well as the incentive and opportunity to use their mental, physical, and social capabilities to promote optimum level of functioning.
The Activity Aide encourages Residents to participate in programs by welcoming and orienting new admissions, escort/transport residents to daily activity programs, events, religious services, meals, etc. The aide also may drive on resident outings and or work with volunteers.
Shift availability:
1 weekend per month - rotating with other activity staff
Must be available to work weekends/holidays
WE NO LONGER REQUIRE THE COVID VACCINATION TO WORK AT SAINT MARY'S HOME OF ERIE.
