Saint Mary's Home of Erie is a beautiful, well-maintained facility enjoyed by our residents. A casual, part time, Activity Aide is needed to work with the Activity Director to achieve the objectives of the Activity Department. The Aide will lead a range of appropriate and interesting activities that are assigned by the Activity Director. The primary objective is to provide the residents with “person-centered” care, as well as the incentive and opportunity to use their mental, physical, and social capabilities to promote optimum level of functioning.
The Activity Aide encourages Residents to participate in programs by welcoming and orienting new admissions, escort/transport residents to daily activity programs, events, religious services, meals, etc. The aide also may drive on resident outings and or work with volunteers.
Shift availability:
20 hours per bi-weekly pay period as needed
No evening shifts necessary
1 weekend per month - rotating with other activity staff
Must be available to work weekends/holidays
Schedule options are:
Tuesdays Thursdays noon-5pm (two days per week)
Or
Monday, Wednesday 1-4:30pm and Fridays 1-4pm (three days per week)
