Position Summary:
The Medication Reconciliation Technician provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. Responsible for collecting accurate home medications lists for all inpatients.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Must be registered with the State Board of Pharmacy, upon hire or within 90 days of employment in position per state guidelines or be actively enrolled in a College of Pharmacy.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification - Preferred
- Three years hospital or retail pharmacy experience - preferred.
