We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lead Machinist to join our dynamic team in Fort Mitchell.
Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of CNC machinists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machining issues as they arise.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including G-code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
