Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to upsell and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Outstanding guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic understanding of food preparation methods and culinary terminology
