Role Summary :
As a Payroll Tax Analyst your primary responsibility is partnering with our offshore team where guidance is required on payroll processing, payroll tax
and system requirements with minimal supervision. You'll troubleshoot payroll issues, determines root cause and partners with the Payroll Team, IT, and PBPs to develop proactive measures to achieve best practices and regulatory
compliance. You will also be responsible for system testing of system enhancements / fixes and will provide support and expertise in other project work. This role is being added to coordinate area responsibilities both internally to Payroll and externally to other business units.
Key Qualifications :
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree in a business related field or comparable Payroll experience. CPP designation recommended.
- Must understand payroll fundamentals, policies and regulations.
- Must have experience with reconciling financial records
- Must have experience building and merging reports in Microsoft Excel
- Must have 2-4 years of payroll experience, specifically within payroll tax. Experience in payroll conversions is highly recommended but not required.
- Must be proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and Office.
- Knowledge of the Workday payroll system is a plus.
