The Child Care Assistance Program Manager plans, develops, implements and ensures the efficient, timely and continuous operations of the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) under the supervision of the Program Director. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the Child Care Assistance Program team including performance management, coaching and monitoring of work product for accuracy and ensuring processing deliverables in alignment with contract and agency expectations, and day to day management of the Child Care Assistance Program department. Qualifications

Education And Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university or a current ECE Level 1 Credential and three (3) years-experience with CCAP or in social services, customer service, early childhood education, child development, or related field. Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 4 years’ experience working in the area of social services Knowledge of Principles and practices of child care assistance programs, Illinois Department of Human Services policies and procedures, Child Care Resource and Referral Programs, fraud detection and investigations, and hiring and training procedures.

- Serve as subject matter expert in Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program policies, processes, and best practices.
- Supervise the operations of the Child Care Assistance Program including management and supervision of Child Care Assistance Program staff.
- Manage and provide technical assistance, outreach, and training for the Child Care Assistance Program Staff.
- Process eligibility paperwork and Child Care Certificates within timelines as provided by Illinois Department of Human Services.
- Facilitate Illinois Department of Human Services surveys, outreach and UAT/Child Care Management System testing and complete regular Illinois Department of Human Services reports and responses for data.
