On- Call Activity Coordinator - Zipline
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and energetic Zipline Operator to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests participating in zipline adventures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor activities, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with gear fitting, including harnesses, helmets, and safety equipment.
- Conduct safety briefings and demonstrations before each zipline tour.
- Inspect and maintain zipline equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Guide guests through the zipline course, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding course closures.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Uphold company policies and safety procedures at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and engage guests in a fun, positive manner.
- Assist with course maintenance, including inspecting platforms, cables, and landing areas.
- Educate guests about the environment, wildlife, and history of the area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in outdoor adventure, zipline operation, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically fit; able to climb ladders, lift equipment, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Comfortable working at heights and handling emergency situations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ropes courses, climbing, or adventure tourism.
- Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and environmental conservation.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
