Position Overview
We are seeking a Hospitality IT Specialist to join our team and provide primary support for end-user computing needs. You will play a vital role in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems for both internal staff and resort guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Respond to helpdesk queries and provide effective solutions.
- Procure, set up, and install new desktops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with third-party support teams to resolve system-related issues.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure software licensing compliance.
- Ensure systems have up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware protection.
- Regularly test and apply software updates in a timely manner.
- Continuously enhance helpdesk service through industry best practices.
- Work to improve first-call resolution and foster strong internal and external relationships.
- Document issues and resolutions for a growing knowledge base.
- Take ownership of helpdesk tickets from start to resolution, working with third-party vendors when necessary.
- Maintain open communication with end-users to improve understanding and satisfaction.
