The Electrical Designer/ Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment. Our Electrical Designers focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, hospital and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Job Summary:
The Electrical Designer/ Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment. Our Electrical Designers focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, hospital and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
General Duties:
- Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs and documentation in AutoCAD/Revit
- Understanding and design of lighting systems, electrical, and fire alarm systems
- Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment
- Edit electrical system specifications
- Survey existing buildings and identify electrical systems and components
- Review submittals of equipment for compliance with the contract documents
- Observe and report upon electrical construction work in progress
- Interact with project team members and leaders
Skills:

- Strong work ethic, along with the ability to work as part of a team
- Design experience in commercial, residential and institutional projects
- Hands-on experience with latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT, MS Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Engineering Technology program (or similar) is a plus
