You will gain practical experience by working with experienced engineering and technical professionals and participating in challenging engineering projects.
Responsibilities
Work tasks will vary and require flexibility and desire for diversity in the engineering field.
Primary work to be performed includes supporting facility condition assessments (FCA) of
infrastructure systems owned by the federal government, AutoCAD drafting and developing cost estimates for design and construction projects. Typical job duties consist of 2D and 3D drafting, analyzing facility systems and equipment, writing technical reports and populating cloud-based databases. Work will be performed at our Merritt Island, FL office.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at a four-year ABET
university or college with preferred targeted graduation date within 1 year
(preferred). Will consider interns who are graduating within 2 years, depending on our
needs.
Must be able to work part-time, maximum 20 hours on average each work week and have reliable transportation. During the Summer months, we often have additional hours
available to interns.
Verification of ship required upon hire.
