Job Summary:
The Electrical Designer will use Revit to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces.
General Duties:
- Design electrical systems including electrical service entrance design, lighting systems, power, fire alarm.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Perform electrical system design calculations.
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Complete code compliance research.
- Visit project sites.
- Review shop drawings and provide construction site visit reports.
Skills:
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Proficient in Revit and MS Office.
Qualifications:
- You have a minimum 2 years design experience as a designer.
- You have knowledge of layout and design of electrical systems.
- You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines.
