Job Overview :
Seeking an Electrical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD, controls design, and NEC knowledge for developing electrical systems and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience in controls design
- Familiarity with NEC and UL guidelines
- Knowledge of motor controls (DC/AC) and blueprint interpretation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with overhead crane control systems
- Familiarity with VFDs
Responsibilities:
- Develop drawings and documentation for projects
- Manage multiple projects with varying technologies and deadlines
- Assist in training control panel assembly technicians and apprentices
- Organize project components and maintain panel shop inventory
- Provide material lists to the purchasing manager per job requirements
- Complete schematic, wiring diagrams, panel layout diagrams, festoon/E-Chain designs, pendant assembly diagrams, runway conductor reviews, and as-built drawings
