PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the guidance of the CMMS Administrator, will be responsible for the overall asset management, work planning, and spare part inventory using CMMS software package. This position is also responsible for maintaining parts / asset data accuracy and equipment hierarchy; and rolling out standard workflows for work requests, preventive maintenance programs, project requests, and inspections.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs entry of data electronically; daily reporting of material movement, purge requests, pre-alert entries, customer web entries, transfers, etc.
- Completes filing of material documents
- Performs duties such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing material to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure total customer satisfaction to ensure a standard of customer service that exceeds customer and management expectations.
- Handle purchase request.
- Formulate and process orders for parts.
- Purchase parts from vendors through the Purchase Order system and ship to retail customers.
- Follow up on phone calls, part orders, returns, and shipments.
- Identify parts from the warehouse.
- Assist customers in selecting the correct part(s) when the part number is not known.
- Work closely with vendors to solve parts problems encountered by customers.
- Assist in collection of receivables.
- Provide all inventory assistance.
