Job Summary:
The NextGen Coordinator is the direct administrative and operations support to the Salem Kids and Salem Students ministries. This role includes assisting in workflow, communication, and ministry productivity to enhance the effectiveness of the NextGen Ministries. The NextGen Coordinator will need to be a proactive partner in thinking through and executing the needs of the ministry – either personally or through delegating to teams as the need requires.

Leadership Responsibilities NextGen Planning & Execution
- Partner with NextGen Pastors to support vision, strategy, and execution of initiatives.
- Work closely with the NextGen Pastors to manage and maintain the NextGen calendar, including ensuring that information is on the all-church calendar and not overlapping with other events.
- Coordinate event preparation including leadership trainings, weekly programming, camps, trips, and volunteer gatherings, ensuring smooth execution of all NextGen programs.
- Manage all logistical details of event preparation including building requests, calendar scheduling, communications, safety, set-up, and tear-down, etc.
- Track and manage forms for events, trips, and registrations across NextGen ministry.
Administration & Communication
- Process new guest information for Kids and Students Ministries. * Execute purchasing and purchase submissions including receipt management.
- Proofread and send ministry communications, including emails and announcements.
- Ensure all ongoing volunteer and parent communication is well-organized and executed.
- Schedule volunteers and ensure clear, timely communication regarding their roles and responsibilities for the week.
