We are looking for a Vice President, Branch Manager to plan, organize and administer all branch activities to effectively utilize branch personnel in order to provide customers with quality customer service and bank services in conformance with established bank policies and procedures. You will actively organize and manage the branch team in order to meet sales, marketing and operation goals.

We are looking for a Vice President, Branch Manager to plan, organize and administer all branch activities to effectively utilize branch personnel in order to provide customers with quality customer service and bank services in conformance with established bank policies and procedures. You will actively organize and manage the branch team in order to meet sales, marketing and operation goals.
How You Will Accomplish This
- Manage assigned branch personnel by:
- Ensuring the branch is adequately staffed with properly trained personnel
- Making recommendations for branch employees regarding performance ratings, promotion, salary adjustments, transfers and termination
- Resolving personnel problems, particularly those of a more complex nature
- Guiding and advising subordinates in the more complex phases of work
- Coordinating the activities of the branch with other departments of the Bank
- Manage the branch sales plan. Ensure employees are adequately trained in sales and service of all bank products. Develop internal programs to encourage branch sales. Attain yearly goals and measure progress towards sales goals.
- Lead and actively participate in a variety of external programs to develop new business. These include, but are not limited to, direct mail campaigns, lead development programs, and business development.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the administration of established bank policies and ensure effective implementation of all changes in policies and procedures. Maintain and reinforce Bank security and adherence to all regulatory and compliance polices. Reinforce regulatory and sales training with all employees.
- Reinforce overall branch customer service standards in keeping with bank goals; measure and monitor employees’ performance towards these goals
- Establish the branch’s reporting responsibilities to ensure effective communication of branch performance to appropriate senior management. Utilize reports to evaluate branch productivity, align workflow, increase product sales, and make appropriate decisions to meet overall bank/branch goals.
- Ensure the Bank’s appropriate physical appearance. Implement effective merchandising standards to sell and cross-sell products to existing customers and maintain the Bank’s image.
- Actively participate in representing the Bank on various community service projects. Maintain a leadership role, representing the Bank on a minimum of one board within the community we serve.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree a plus) and 5-7 years of branch management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong working knowledge of bank operations and products
- Knowledge of banking regulations, including compliance
- Strong interpersonal and management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and on the telephone). Effectively communicate with and respond to questions from customers and from other departments within the Bank.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking programs
- Strong team-building ability
- Proven track record of sales referrals, including alternative investment products
