Salem Health is seeking a dedicated Urologist to join our team in Salem, Oregon. As part of our healthcare system, you will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
Your Role with Us :
- Provide both outpatient and inpatient consults, performing clinic and operating room-based procedures.
- Utilize robotic surgical assistance to enhance precision and patient outcomes in urological surgeries.
- Leverage AI-assisted technology connected to our EPIC EMR to improve patient care, enhance workflow efficiency, and reduce administrative burden.
- Manage follow-up outpatient care for patients after inpatient procedures.
- Participate in after-hours calls, rounds on inpatients, and urgent urologic surgical procedures while on call.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical care in our EMR system.
- Contribute to the development of protocols, policies, order sets, and patient education materials related to urology.
- Build and cultivate a strong referral base for urology patients.
