Your Role With Us:
As an Insurance AR Specialist, your role involves managing and resolving moderate to complex claim errors to ensure accurate and timely submission to payers, maximizing reimbursement. You will handle claim denials with a keen attention to detail, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions. Your advanced industry knowledge and problem-solving abilities will be essential in identifying and analyzing variances between expected and actual reimbursements, while staying updated on contractual agreements with payers. Direct communication with payers will be critical to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve payment discrepancies, and secure timely reimbursement. You will collaborate with leadership to analyze trends, address root causes of claim edits and denials, and help develop strategies to reduce accounts receivable. Additionally, maintaining a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and billing compliance issues will be crucial to your role in identifying discrepancies and ensuring adherence to industry standards. You will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the billing process.

Background/Expertise:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience in medical or professional billing REQUIRED
- EPIC Resolute experience PREFERRED
