Your Role With Us:
The Orthopedic/Joint Replacement Center of Excellence RN cares holistically for each patient and their family. We provide care for patients with fractures, orthopedic trauma, and elective orthopedic surgeries, and have an extremely successful and busy total hip and knee joint replacement program. Salem Health was the first hospital in Oregon to achieve Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification for both hip and knee replacements, and has maintained certification throughout each subsequent recertification cycle. Care is provided following evidence-based clinical pathways, and in close collaboration with therapy services, medical providers, care managers and other ancillary services. The unit has received multiple patient experience awards for being recognized by the patients in the top decile in the nation for patient satisfaction.

Background/Expertise:
- Requires BSN or BAN or non-nursing Bachelor’s Degree with MSN for all external applicants for Salem Hospital, preferred for West Valley Hospital.
- For internal applicants preference may be given to applicant with BSN.
- ADN with an agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire
- Current and unrestricted Oregon license.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
