Schedule: Saturday, Sunday: 8:00am-8:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday: 11:00am-7:30pm

Your Role With Us:
As a Medical Interpreter with Salem Health, you will assist in the important role of patient care by providing and coordinating language interpretation between patient, family and health care provider(s). In this role, you will utilize your unique customer care skills and excellent communication abilities to facilitate understanding between medical staff, patients and their families.

Background/Expertise:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Currently certified or qualified through Oregon Health Authority (OHA.) Required to complete all necessary education and processes to maintain certification.
- Formal two (2) years interpreting experience required or the completion of a state approved health care interpreter training course. Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Health care experience desirable, particularly medical terminology.
