Description :
This is a position for a registered nurse in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery Unit.
The unit includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery, with operating and recovery rooms.
The selected candidate will work night shifts and every other weekend for a total of 36 hours.
The role requires caring for patients in various stages of labor and postpartum recovery.
The clinician to patient ratio is 1 : 2-3 for evaluations and 1 : 1 for active labor or specific treatments.
The postpartum patient ratio is 1 : 3-4.
The candidate will chart using the EPIC system.
No floating to other units is required.
ACLS certification is preferred.
