Job Title : L&D / Post-Partum Registered Nurse

Description :
The unit is a 25-bed Labor & Delivery department, including labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn care, operating rooms, and recovery rooms.
This position requires providing care to mothers and newborns, managing patient care during labor, and providing postpartum support.
Clinician to patient ratio varies, such as 1 : 2-3 for evaluations and 1 : 1 for active labor.
The patient population includes all age groups, focusing on mothers and babies.
The average daily census ranges from 15-25 mothers and babies in labor.
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is required.
Floating to other units is not required.
Rotating shifts include day, evening, and night options, with a schedule of (7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
Additional certifications such as ACLS are preferred.
The role involves rotating shifts with one night of on-call duty.
The environment includes multiple labor and delivery rooms and operating rooms for surgical needs.
